I have a feeling that they may have stolen the tiger so that it could be part of the illegal trade in tiger parts. Really sad. Hope the thieves are caught and punished; I just hope that this is not a start of a new trend, as tigers are becoming rarer in the wild. Thanks, Cher!

Nothing is sacred to these reject persins ( deliberate spelling! ). Maybe I've missed something here but don't these people usally go after male tigers? Perhaps they will take security a bit more seriously! What a sad end to amajestic beast! May her soul rest in eternal peace in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen!

Who knows, Chaz. To be honest, in Asia, there are many "zoos" that are little more than breeding facilities for tiger parts (such as the Sriracha Zoo). This place doesn't seem like it, but it is possible that, in this part of the world, you have people working there who would help these thieves out. After all, in most sanctuaries and reserves, you have forestry officials who help poachers and smugglers.

Ths is truley disgusting, is there no place safe for Tigers? I hope they catch these people and that they get prosecuted to the fullest. I beleive greatly in karma, and I sure it will catch them up.

people are breaking into zoo's more and more. it looks like to me that they would have security on the premises to protect these animals. the sad thing is the monsters that did this to this great cat probably will never be caught and brought to justice. sad.

This breaks my heart. Why can't people realize that these animals are not created for them to kill for profit? These animals DO show emotion, they are loving to their young, vocal messages that tell distress, anger, affection. They play, they fight....the list goes on. There needs to be more substantial punishments for poachers or for those buying and selling parts of these animals. How much is enough? When there are no more? My heart aches for them.

Imprisioned in a zoo & then stolen & killed. Poor beast. No life either way.
