Increased commercial fishing will cause broad population declines across the globe in the coming years.

Please visit Site...if you really want a truly special in depth story about what is happening.

Sadly not only is it the over-fishing, but now the desire to eat their flippers...

This is a special creature that has survived all these years through all of the changes that the world had to hold in store, and what happens now...man comes along and we are in danger of losing this creature for good.

Unbelieveable, Totally Sad, and Truly Upsetting...Wish Man had never been born sometimes...including me when I see all of this ruin take place.

Thanks Cher..

Bill nelson isa senator here in fl. he is heading up a campaign to stop breakers being put up and oil rigs to near one of the very few spots that the turtles lay eggs. we used to have all these rules years ago, and abn area roped off for them not to be stepped on, also late night tours of them(not good), but if Riveara gets its way we will lose this area too, as they can barely get thru the breakers, and the oil rigs would be a disaster.also the babies that do hatch would become good eating for the birds and fish as they try to pass back thru...so damn sad.my turtles come to me by name and are sweet and loving....smart as all get out too. lets hope Bill Nelson gets this one thru.

I've noted similar news yesterday, I think. I have no words to express my sadness...
