Gorilla Poaching Greater Threat Than Previously Believed

The BBC has announced that up to two gorillas are killed and sold for bush meat each week in just one area of the Republic of Congo. The gorillas in question are Western lowland gorillas, which are listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List

Oh the poor gorillas. This species has suffered so much. Prayers for them. The Congo is rotten, rotten with corruption. There is no will to protect these magnificent animals. The money is spent on war mongering.

please visit wildlife direct for methods of supporting the prevention of gorilla poaching. This tragedy has gone on for too long.
