Private individuals keeping exotic animals in cages. A bear exploding into rage resulitng in the death of a human and his own death. The article also talks about a lion pacing up and down in a cage. This pacing is DISTRESS.

Why oh why do people keep wild animals in cages? Don't they realise that they are destroying the spirit of the animals? And when that animal turns on them - horrible injury and/or death is the end result for the human?

Mankind thinks it is 'evolved'. In my opinion we are just about as backwards as our ancestral apes - only we camouflage our ignorance with fancy gadgets.....
