Here is the translation...

On Sunday, October 4 died 'Falco', an Iberian lynx cub born this season in the breeding center Olivilla (Jaén) within the Program for Ex-Situ conservation, according to information published on the website of the program .

So on that information, the animal was raised with his mother and brothers and about a month ago, had a seizure, after which a check was made and symptomatic treatment, without being detected nothing "significant" in analytics.

The specimen is again not have any episodes during the last month until Sunday morning began with new crises, so he went to surgery and treatment was administered, despite which eventually died shortly after.

On Tuesday, an autopsy was performed at the Center for Analysis and Diagnosis of the Environmental Council of the Board and is awaiting the analysis results to determine a definitive diagnosis.

With the death of Falco was reduced to 15 copies of this cat of the born in captivity in breeding centers in El Acebuche, in Almonte (Huelva) and La Olivilla (Jaén) during the 2009 season that are still alive. In total, 11 females gave birth to 28 cubs, of which ten have not gone beyond the first days after birth and three --Fresno, Felina and Falco- Low caused more than a month old.

Still, this is a record number of cubs made in the Program Ex-Situ Conservation of the Iberian lynx launched by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs (MARM) and the Junta de Andalucia in December 2003.

i suppose to ask why lynx's are being bred in captivity would be like asking the Chinese why they breed panda's ... so this precious little liberian lynx "Falco" is gone... :( ...
Wild animals belong in the wild ...just ask Gorilly ...lol... the thing is... saving species somehow before the become extincT!!!!!!!
