Noted, signed and forwarded. Thanks for the heads up, Cher. I hadn't found this one. Added my 2 cents-

"Prime Minister Rudd made a promise to the Australian Public that if elected he would protect our whales off Australian Shores in the Southern Ocean Sanctuary"- well, PM Rudd, if you won't keep your promise, then you're just like lots of other less-than-honest politicians. You can redeem yourself here. It's pretty easy too. Just give Captain Watson and his XO Hammarstedt visa entry and allow them to carry the fight to the poachers and killers. This is a big no-brainer and we hope you'll do this one small thing to help protect the whales. It's small and easy, but it's very important. Please, let the Sea Shepherd and Captain Watson start to save the whales there. It's the right thing to do. For now, you are siding with the Japanese poachers? Why side with the law-breaking killers? How does that make sense? Please get on the right side of this immediately. Welcome the Sea Shepherd and Captain Watson like you should have already. Get this done.

Watson is my hero. In the early 1960's, I read Farley Mowat's book "Sea of Slaughter" and knew that a conservationist of great courage would be needed to save the oceans. Watson lives up to everything for which I hope. Thank you Cher, for this article.
