In a split decision, a U.S. appeals court upheld the convictions of animal-rights activists charged under a terrorism statute with using their Web site to incite threats and vandalism against a company that tests products on animals.

For years animal activists try to make animal cruelty stop. Sometimes I understand that extreme measures are to be taken against all forms of animals cruelty. To protect animals do not make you a criminal. The biggest criminals sits in parlaments. The most corrupt persons are the government dept.

But that still doesnt give us the right to burn ones home down now does it??? You go after the companies not the people...YOU definalty dont take lives in the process...

i don't think the shac 7 burned down anyone's house, now did they???
for that matter, i don't think any of the 7 actually committed any of the acts of vandalism or harassment that they were convicted of "conspiring" about...
either way, it's like putting eddie murphy on trial for "kill my landlord"
the fact still remains that huntingdon commits abuse, murder, & countless atrocities everyday... they get away with it becuz there are no laws protecting nonhumans against speciesism...
nonhumans are not properties or resources & it is criminal to treat them as such
