Albino animals seem to be everywhere these days. This month alone, we've seen an albino squirrel, an albino magpie, an albino kangaroo and an albino alligator. In this gallery, we look at various examples of albinism in the animal kingdom

Awesome photos! The albino koala, hedgehog, and fawn were adorable, while the albino peacock was absolutely stunning. Sadly these animals would never survive in the wild for long since their white coloring would make it easy for predators to spot them.

Thanks for the article Cher. Interesting! We used to have a young partial albino raccoon that would come to our yard a few years ago. I was lucky enough to get a few pictures one night.

Beautiful creatures. I believe I read somewhere that albino's occur in all animals espescially when the environment they are in is plentiful in food an water.
Thanks Cher

I just contacted them about the Moose in south eastern BC near the border with Washington State. I'm sure he/she wanders where it pleases.Border Guards be damned.
