Forget the myth of rodeos as all-American sport. Rodeos are cruel and deadly for animals, some are corrupt, and the crimes of some rodeo people go far beyond animals.

Cher, I'm noting the story, but not going to the link. I've been all over Shark's website today and can't handle much more. But bless you for caring. And I hope it shames the Americans, and every person who drinks Coca-Cola - one of the BIG sponsors via advertising of these events.

These worthless scum need to have the prod used on THEM!

Then they might reconsider the agony they put these poor animals through in the name of entertainment and profit...

Reading the article, since there is blatant video evidence that illegal shocking is going on on a regular basis, how on earth have these rodeos not been closed down and the shockers arrested? What's the point of making this kind of torture illegal if even when confronted with clear evidence of it, nothing is done. If as the article suggests, the law is too corrupt in that particular state, then the officials must be removed from office and people who will actually do their jobs installed in their place.

*fuming*
