*334 & noted. This one is so close to my heart... they have been doing the roundups here in Nevada for as long as I can remember. It's heart breaking.... I remember when my daughter was young, we used to go to the lake early in the morning just to see the wild horses running about the area, breathtaking sight....I have not seen them in years...

Thank you Cher! This is a passion close to my heart. I am really happy to sign any petition that will contribute towards stopping the roundups, all of them, in the USA and in Canada. Let the wild horses stay free!

Already signed but went to check only #344 -- this is WAY SO IMPORTANT. I did forward this today early this morning, when Angie pulled out the petitions for me and left a comment.

These special creatures need to be protected and not round-up, shot, etc, this is the worst form of greed that Man has and Ya gotta know that these horses were her first with the Indians, we have run everything into the crapper, and want more...

Confused...why doesn't Man (if he is so smart) get a clue!!!

This is only done so that the freeloading ranchers can mooch off the tax payers to increase their evil profits. It's time for our Public lands to be for the Public, permanently. No hunters leeching off tax money; no trappers mooching off tax money; no ranchers freeloading off tax money. No poisoning the animals that we want to have on our Public lands, no more destroying the habitat with mining or drilling; no more cutting down the forests for toilet paper and no more corruption in the Interior Department where they are experts at selling us out.
Just my two cents.

Very sad. It seems the human solution to just about every perceived wildlife problem is culling. Stop the supposed degradation of land by getting rid of the horses and burros and then invite the mining companies in. Oh yeah, that will stop the damage - the only motivation is greed and the insatiable lust to consume.

When are these people going to realise that we are the problem? If any species needs to have its population managed and controlled, it is the human population. Let's stop defying Nature and let the natural order take care of itself.

This has to be the most shocking evidence of human callousness ever. To think that the very animals that carried these interlopers into the 21st. century should now be discarded to make way for grazing and other such mercenery activity is really shocking. Wake up US ! What message are you sending out to the rest of the world.?

THANKS CHER !!!!!!

18 MORE ROUNDUPS scheduled for this year alone. It's an incredible amount that are being stripped and ripped away from OUR lands. We have to find a way to STOP this and demand OUR Government work for alternative, common sense, and creative ways to be stewards for our horses, burros and lands. God help us, they WILL be gone soon if we do not stay involved and active to PROTECT and DEFEND them. THANKS TO ALL WHO TRULY CARE SO MUCH.

"We the People" are being managed by corporate greed a political system that carries the water for the richest of the Fortune 500. No amount of reason, letter writing, or hope will sway our political croonies to listen to us, they answer to the money. We may consider a class action Federal Lawsuit to impower us to have our laws inforced, althogh the Courts are just as political. If enough of us join an action and we can withstand STANDING issues we might prevail. Anyone interested?

Thank you for the petition and here is what we been up to in trying to get a sanctuary for our Wild Mustangs and Burros at this link:

http://www.madeleinepickens.com/

It is not easy when you are up against the money that the Cattleman's Association is providing the BLM and Department of interior with. In the Southwest its a fight for water and not just grazing rights. As long as there is greed and money involved along with the lobbyists our politicians turn a deaf ear to its citizens and could care less about our wildlife whether it is a wild mustang or a wolf.

Our lands are slowly being cultivated by corporate greed and unless we do something there will not be any land for the Wild Mustang or Burro to roam.
