The harvesting of palm oil threatens the planet itself. The EU plans to ban its importation soon and Britian already has. So these cats will be saved only because some people at a great distance from them have more sense than greed.

Kitty whiskers to Cher, Bee Hive Lady, and Tierney! == ^..^ == I'm out of green stars.
I've tried to stop buying food with palm oil and it's very hard to do. I make as much of our food as I can from scratch and I'm careful to buy corn oil or sesame oil or olive oil rather than any combo oil that contains palm oil. Sheesh.

Palm oil plantations are terrible for the loss of rainforests, loss of habitat and biodiversity. Palm oil is in so many processed foods, cosmetics and other products, such as Dove soap. Hope the plantations can be halted.

Habitat destruction is as devastating as climate change and accompanies it often, as humans try to exploit limited resources for profit. Thanks for posting this, Cher!.
