You all know my passion is galgos and podencos but, occasionally, something comes into my inbox which sickens me so much to the heart. I simply cannot understand the mentality of bloodthirsty sadistic Spaniards.......many of them are the opposite,

Well we have to know to not blame all spainards. But the ones who condone and keep doing this crap...they have some real big issues.

This was so sickening. I mean what goes or doesn't go through the minds of monsters like this? Maybe we could prevent this stuff if we knew.
Thanks Cher

Parents may be could have prevented this kind of behaviour if we still believe in educating our children!

It is welcome news to read that El Refugio del Burrito and The Donkey Sancutary are to take legal action against those responsible and push for stricter animal laws in Spain. This story was awful and to know that as a result donkeys in Spain may finally be afforded protection from the kind of cruelty this poor female donkey went through, will be a great step forward for animal welfare rights in Spain.

Animal abusers are cowards. They take their issues out on the most defenceless beings available to them. Monsters like them should have their crimes tattooed on their faces or even better...have the same thing done to them.

It good to know that at least legal is going to be taken. The last news story on this said that the authority were trying to convince the owners not to press charges.

Personally, I have sent stacks of emails to Spanish Officials and newspapers, most were returned deleted or not read.

There is something really wrong with the people in Spain, as they don't want to do anything about animal cruelty. They have laws that are not enforced, and when it comes to bulls well they are not even included in protections laws at all. The EU should not accept animal cruelty countries as members, they should prove that they enforce the law before becoming a member. But then on the other hand they wouldn't have many members left as a lot of those countries as the same when it comes to animal cruelty.
