Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission workers are holding an amnesty event today where unwanted nonnative pets can be handed over with no questions asked.

Having extotic pets of any species is a danger, Thank you, Cher, for letting us know there is a place of safety for these animals after their humans tired of them.

At least they can get back some animals that are in danger from giving them a break...but, frankly I hate giving any of these people any type of special treatments...

Leave these animals alone, let them live in the wild, don't take them in...

This was a special article, and maybe, if more States/Countries did this we would have less animals running loose and making a problem for a TON of areas!!!

What a sensible thing to do. I hope it is accompanied by a massive education program, telling these people why it is so wrong to try and domesticate certain animals, since they are devoid of all commonsense.
