Here is the article.....

KING 5 viewers have donated $2,000 to help save the lives of two Siberian tigers.

The money is expected to keep the tigers from being euthanized.

The tigers' lives were put in danger after a divorce.

"I don't want to have to euthanize them," said Jennifer Jones, the owner of the tigers who can no longer afford to care for the tigers.

The food bill for the two 500-pound animals costs Jones about $400 a month.

Jones' two other large cats, a lynx and a serval, have been relocated to a sanctuary in Olympia.

The director of the Wild Felid Advocacy Center said the tigers may be moved to sanctuaries in California or Wisconsin, but the non-profit organization does not have the money to move them.

"That could cost $5,000", said director Sheleen Mathews.

If anyone would like to help go to wildfelids.org for more information.

This is terrible, not enough money for a zoo to be able to feed its big cats, another outcome of the dreadful economic woes the greedy badnkers have led us into. Thank you for taking you Sunday to share this promissing news and my those wonderful news viewers be blessed.

This is an endangered species and is in the hands of a private couple. These beautiful animals should be in a breeding programme or taken to a reserve. It's wonderful that these people have donated money to help but these tigers should be protected at all costs!

At least these tigers will get to live out their lives now and not have them cut tragically short, and a sanctuary sounds like a good result -- and will be larger than the enclosures they are currently in. Thanks Cher.
