Geepers...this is just horrible!

These are endangered species and are being killed and their claws removed and who knows what else!

Article doesn't say if anyone has a clue who has done this vicious crime to these special beasts!

Can't these people just hunt each other?

Thanks Cher!

This mutation is most troubling to me. Some bobcats in Japan had the same thing happen to them -- no front claws. Scientists found out that the mutation was case by mercury poisoning. I hope that man's careless pollution has not caused this awful thing to happen. Thank you Vher, although the news is distubering, it is something necessary to give more consideration to.

Who on earth would want the claws of a bear? It's as obscene as cutting the feet off a child and selling them on the black market.

Actually, this sound to me like the Mountain Men that HAD to kill these animals to survive...

Nowdays, these people do it for obscene pleasure.

Whack them and be done with it...

I pray to the Creator to help us find a way to stop this. There has to be a way to track these horrid people down and make the payment for this type of crime so harsh, NO ONE would even think about it. The killers and any one in possession of any wild animal or products from them, need to be jailed for years and pay fines that would put their greedy needs out of business so far they could not recover to do it again.

Shirley, great comment, and if it was a perfect world all of our special animals would be protected, there is something horrid going on with the human race!!

They are a TON of sick people and want to hurt things, also, there are a TON of $$$ people that want all of the special parts that some of these special creatures have...like the hand of a giant Gorilla, Hurts my heart to think about it, but this is becoming way to alarming and is going on now way to much.

So upset with Humans frankly, would love to live with wolves!

There should be a super heavy fine and jail time if you are caught with bear claws, and worse if you are selling them! I'd love to fry the lot of them...
