Nepal, China to Ink MoU on Trafficking in Tiger Parts

The government will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China on trans-boundary crime control in tiger parts in the first week of February.

Well~this is the year of the Tiger. Hopefully China will be aggressive in protecting this beautiful animal. Thanks Cher for sharing.

We need to encourage these countries to crack down like everything on tiger-parts traffickers. We cannot afford to let these magnificent animals go extinct.

I cannot trust either country to honor their commitments, considering their track record in conservation. I hope, though, that this is a start of something new, especially for China.
