I do all I can to make sure all the birds and outdoor critters are well taken care of! :) They probably eat better than I do lol. All seasons, especially in winter though, my feeders are well stocked with goodies for everyone, from squirrels to birds to chipmunks to possums and raccoons (they visit too in my big platform feeder!). Thank you for this news post, wish more people would take care of the animals in need outside, especially since humans have taken away so much of their habitat and food sources.

My husband and I love to see birds coming to our garden to eat grains and fruits we prepare everyday. Besides, there are some trees that bear fruits, one of which does so in winter.

I like helping out the birds, a bit selfish too: I enjoy watching the birds as they visit my garden ...
Some people say we should let the birds find their own food , how can they, when we take so much from nature and leave so little for the animals !!

They are well fed in my garden all year round, but at the moment they have a feast of extra special goodies laid out for them. Great article.

with the extreme cold they realy need some help to survive, I always put out some birdfood in my garden.
