I am devastated!! I wonder if this is a genetic fault carried by the Dam; this I feel bears looking into. Healing is being sent for all affected by this situation. In Love and Peace Rosi caswell Animal Whisperer, Animal/Human Therapist

Breeding in captivity is extremely challenging. It is also possible the mother suspected something wrong with her cub at birth, and rejected her. I rescued a blind feral cat who was rejected by the mother, and her litter mates. Very sad, Very sad for both the mother and cub.

Nature can be so harsh as when mothers abandon their children. This sometimes occurs when the mother instinctively knows that there is something wrong with their offspring. Sometimes they even attack them. It is still very sad and hard to comprehend.
