How Do Ravens Differ From Crows?

Ravens are remarkable birds. And while not dismissing their cousin crows as the boring wallflowers of the party, ravens have a story of their own that's worth knowing

Thanks Cher. I don't think I've ever seen a raven. I checked out their range and it doesn't include southern MN. Will look for them when I travel.

I have seen Ravens in new jersey , and at Lake Tahoe.
Bernd Heinrich, a biologist wrote a great book,"Ravens in Winter," that is fascinating; also involves wolves.

Thank you ! Greatly appreciate both species, and once saw a documentary about Ravens - in one clip a woman had befriended a Raven, and the Raven would fly along side her while she was driving, and when the raven tired, lighted on the back window, would rest a bit and then fly along side her again. Quite wonderful.

I remember seeing them in The Tower of London, and noting how massive they are.

We have crows here, I think. I don't know if I've ever seen a raven. Interesting differences though, and I'd like to see one. Thank, Cher for this.

Thank you Cher! Love Ravens, can't deal with all that CROW NOISE and Poop!

Frankly, love the fact that I have Red Tail Hawks flying around here as well as hummingbirds....
