Do not forget to kill a member of your family?
I think this is a useless question, who would like the death of a loved person, but in reality this killer is ignorance, the not knowledge is a serial killer ever be caught.
ty Cher on the more hot summer of the ages this news is so important

So irresponsible..I wouldn't even leave or allow my pet to be outside on such a hot day..let alone leave a pet in a car..

Its pure thoughtlessness..stupidly and neglect..

Thanks Sweetie..

Irresponsible pet owners. Heat kills. Please don't leave your animals or children in hot vechicles.

Not sure why people do it. I dont take my dog out with me in hot weather. He is much better at home.

Leave your pets home during hot weather, same goes for winter time. It is in their best interest for them to be left at home.

there needs to be a heavy fine/punishment for this type of cruelty - especially police.

Thank you so much Cher for Posting this...

I was at the laundromat today and there were two dogs in a closed car with just a peep of a window open....I went in as I was leaving and said I have water to wipe the paws and take them into the shade this is 11am an 90 degrees....

Kinda Cranky....Her young daughter came out and took my water wipes the paws like I showed her and left the door open ....still in the sun though...What a ton of SCREWBALLS!

I think there should be punishment for this too. It's so senseless and stupid.

Although this comes from England, there has been an increase in reported animal deaths in cars due to the heat.
The most sensible thing to do is KEEP YOUR PET HOME!

Sadly noted and WHY do people take their dogs in the car with them and instead of taking OUT of the car when they go shopping or whatever they are doing they leave them to suffer in the heat and literally cook!!!! Selfish humans!!! I was at the gym the other day here in england,it was a sunny hot day and i could'nt believe what i was seeing,an elderly couple with two big dogs got out of the car leaving them inside to go swimming in the pool, windows open a very small amount, and no shade for the dogs so i went and told them to take the dogs out of the car or take them home, they said they did'nt realise!!!!!!! Last year also policeman left his two police dogs in the car while he went to the office and they suffered an horrendous death, they should be prosecuted for animal cruelty, leave your pets at home!!!!!! Each year here in the UK it happens, when will people learn.Thank you.Liz Xx

People are too f**king stupid. I saw a woman walking her dog on the sunny side of the street in the middle of a NYC summer a few years ago. The poor dog collapsed right on the sidewalk. People came out of the stores with cold water and we carried the dog into a store to cool off. I did everything in my power to not go off on her. But I did tell her she should never walk a dog in the sun...ever.

Leaving an animal in a car in the heat should be treated as animal abuse.

I just don't "get it". Sitting in the car on a hot day is awful for me, even with the windows down. Can't people think?

What do people have in their heads nowadays, when are they going to learn that you NEVER EVER leave your animals in the car by themselves!!!

Noted - oh my God, these poor animals. Owners should be burnt alive. Sometimes it gets extremely hot here in Cape Town and I had an aircon installed in 2 rooms in my house for my dogs. There wellbeing is more important than anything else.

Need to report when you see this. I saw one yesterday morning and was ready to call the police when the person came and got into their car. Wish I would have taken a picture and got their license plate number so I could have turned them in.
