Size is going to matter (a great deal) if there is ever an accident with one. I don't think it is impossible for one to come down with a tornado or earthquake, so even though they are a great source of clean energy, I think they should still be reasonably far away from populated communities.

I certainly agree with Nyack Clancy. They are not attractive, but necessary.
