Beautiful. At one point in time my home town of San Antonio had managed a terrible reputation for not finding homes for stray or abandoned pets. Now thanks to the Humane Society (in this case) people can come and see them in play runs, decide which pet they might like, but first must fill in paper work, allow their vet to be called about their own past record of treatment of the animals, and even agree to spot checks at their homes. No animal is FREE, people do not appreciate any thing that is FREE. Save the life of a pet, adopt!

It is so sad that far too many of these places are not the good shelters we hope they are..Glad that the ASPCA stepped in to rescue them..
Thanks Cher..

You're right Kit..The good rescues really check out those that are tring to adopt or foster cats/dogs..And that is such a good thing..

My sister just rescued a little kitty..And having just recently lost my sweet dog..I am hoping to find another sweet dog to take home and love and take good care of..
