Environmental concerns don't simply address issues of pollution (airborne, noise or visual pollution). Indeed, these are all important aspects worth addressing, especially when it comes to living in urban areas.

Urban trees really are quite cool: they are stylish and they do lower the temperature in neighborhoods.

It sounds very simple to me: where would you rather live - a concrete jungle or a green haven. Trees have disappeared from inner cities because it is cheaper for landlords and city governments to not have to pick up lives and do the rest of tree maintenance. The rich getter richer and the poor get p*ssed on.

The more trees we plant the better, and the more beautiful, and aromatic urban areas become. Nothing is nicer than walking down a tree lined street!! I feel people are friendlier than in the 'paradise that is paved'.
Thank you for this article Cher.

Trees are peaceful, green and when you see them in abundance - it makes you feel better about things in general. Thanks Cher.
