Thank you for speaking up for animals by asking the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary to ban cruel poisons.
Thanks Cher, gladly done. This is so inhumane!

Not to mention the cruel and unnecessary killing of OUR wildlife. Going after an endangered, yes endangered, no matter how special interests have pushed to name them otherwise,) is despicable!

I'm just as happy my Rep is not on any of those committees because he is a Neanderthal an is on too many committees already, but could somebody start a petition the rest of us in the United States could sign to give the committees an idea of public opinion? Just sayin'.

U.S. House committees are considering the Compound 1080 and Sodium Cyanide Elimination Act (H.R. 4214), which, if passed, would amend the Toxic Substances Control Act to ban the use of sodium cyanide for wolf control and ban the use, production, and trade of sodium fluoroacetate (known as "Compound 1080"), a substance often used by the government to kill wildlife. Both substances are notoriously cruel and indiscriminate poisons that cause animals, including nontarget wildlife and companion animals who consume them, to die slow and agonizing deaths.

I support the ban on toxic substances to kill wild life. Yvette shares my way of thinking regarding the issue. Yvette has stated it very well. Thank you. So instead of rewriting all she stated, I can honestly say "ditto."

Done! Thanks, Cher.

I used to get frustrated because so many petitions etc needed you to live in America (I'm in Britain). Then one of my American Care2 friends let me have a 'virtual room' in his house, which means I can use his address to sign this sort of petition! Maybe it's something that other people can broker with their friends...?

Emma S. (225)
Monday November 12, 2012, 4:49 am
Ignore what I just wrote - in the case of this petition, in any case! I just got the same message as lots of other people. But - generally - I still think having a virtual 'second home' is no bad thing.
