Doesn't this tell us enough? Studying how smoking leads to diseases like cancer and cardiovascular disease is possible using cells in vitro in the laboratory. And clinical studies and surveys with tobacco smokers are viable alternatives. We don't need more animal tests!

Signed and shared.

N&S and angered. Animals don't smoke, so why are they always the object of cruel testing? Let Big Tobacco test on people who smoke-period.

sooo they hope to develop a new type of cigarette to start folks smoking again? There is no shame in that industry. Somehow they have found researchers desparate enough to work for them, or at least, without a conscience.

Why don't these tobacco companies just study the assholes who continue to smoke despite all the scientific evidence that it is no good for you? I mean, who really gives a shit if these people slowly commit suicide by smoking?

It has been proven since ancient age gone by that are as good as any animal tests to humans. Often the opposite is the case. In animals, "happy you" in humans, it is deadly! Researchers want to live out their sadism, are unrealistic and stupid! The researchers are much more effective to do without animal testing, but "cold made" from the tormentors.
Is also still a lot of money in the game, so there is the greed to do so. All this unnecessary suffering to animals ....
