Even if we get very aggressive to make massive changes in how we treat our natural habitat - planet earth. It will take generations of careful and conscientious work to begin to see things slowly revert back to normal. I don't know that normal will include what is lost in the polar ice caps, or if normal will include ocean waters receding. We have a long road and so much damage to reclaim whatever the new normal might be.

I think you're quite right Kit. I think the only thing we can do is to make whatever changes we can in the way we manager our world and society. The best thing we can do is to adapt.

Lately we've had more rain than ever before, and I think we haven't seen nothing yet...

...not just Europe.....I am more and more concerned that we are looking at trying to mitigate/minimize the damage rather than trying to prevent.........but have to be hopeful.....
