Does your cat ever freeze up and get mad when you snuggle? Here's how to deal with it.

Lol- its just easier to let the cat snuggle you, on it's own terms!

I agree with Nyack! I must add however, beware of Russian Blues; Coco, my RB kitty, was curled up on the kitchen nook taking a nap looking oh, so, adorable. No, I didn't try to pick her up and 'make snuggles' I just wanted to kiss her. I rolled up to the nook, kissed the top of her head, when her right paw came up and slapped me in the eye! My left eye was black and blue from where she slapped me for a few days. Ezzie-Wezzie and Kirby-Dirby were the only ones who would 'make snuggles' with me and even then, they did so with an ulterior motive; they wanted to go out! LOL Thnx Cher!

LMAO I know I have been the recipient of the angry snuggle and I still have the scars to prove it. I love how she describes each part of the body during an angry snuggle. Thanks for the giggle Cher!

Come on now, you can't force a cat. Take those warm wonderful snuggles when they are in the mood, they are more meaningful and all the more delightful.

Oh yes: My cat makes it bloody obvious when he does and does not want a snuggle!

We are talking about cats here. They generally command affection when they want it, and will tell you to go away when their not in the mood. How human( in a way) is that?
