Solar energy is cleaning up our air for our children and is a powerful solution to global warming. Every megawatt of solar power installed in Los Angeles prevents at least 700 pounds of air pollution.

I sincerely hope those in charge take this initiative and run with it! LA has a huge advantage in its endless sunshine, and they would be fools not to take full advantage. My area has far less sun, but we are trying anyway.

This may be because the alert is restricted to specific states or to constituents of specific representatives, or because your address does not match a ZIP code we can properly map to your representative, or because your representative does not have a contact email address or webform.

Maybe this is for California only? It's a great idea, not all cities should chose solar, but all cities should chose the best form of alternative energy.

Great initiative!

All places with abundant sun-shine should have a vision to increase the share of solar!

Would not work for me.
Solar energy is feasible.
I have seen it working in the Caribbean.
California, Arizona and Florida should be using it by now extensively.

When Saudi Arabia is planning on becomine 100% green, what does that tell you about the U.S.A.?
Are they that much 'smarter' than we?
Perhaps, they don't fall for their own bullcrap.
