Every year, Australia exports millions of live animals to Middle Eastern countries where there are virtually no laws in place to protect them. Over the past 30 years, Australia has crammed more than 200 million animals onto filthy, multilevel cargo ships

Signed. This -cruel depravity to our Australian cattle and sheep that are exported to these -uncivilised -barbaric countries -won't stop -those who participate in this -debauchery ,they aren't concerned as to their fate -no animal deserves the bloody massacre that these poor animals had to endure -this -culture will not change -they have no empathy -or compassion for -any animal-I know our farmers need trade to survive -but not at the expence of losing -our principles - integrity and our- humanity.

It sounds like people need education in the care and use of animals in our world. There is much ignorance in the appropriate care of animals. My heart goes out to all of these animals being abused.

So awful for the animals to suffer on the ship, and then suffer more during slaughter in countries that don't give a crap about animals- stop live transport!

Gladly signed, this cruelty has to stop. We Australians are just as guilty as the Middle East by sending these animals there, knowing that they will be tortured and murdered in the most inhumane way. It is not worth the export $. In contrary to Islam belief that animals feel no pain, wrong, they feel pain just like Muslims do!

I realize that people outside Australia could not sign this petition, I have the same problem with some American petitions. Obviously some petiitions are ment for citizens of the country were the petition originated and are mostly political local issues. I know there are ways around it, but I respect the rules of petitions. But I do feel that this one should have been made available world wide, because live export is not just an Australian issue. It is a global problem. I think the reason why ship loads are rejected is not really a health concern, I think they more likely overordered or found a cheaper subsidised bargain somewhere else. As a consequence the animals will eventually die, or in the Pakistan case get massacered or burried alive.
