I completely support people doing whatever they want with their own bodies, get high or not but damn it do not use innocent animals to test these drugs. Another point that should be considered just for the logic of this, animals often have a paradoxical reaction to human drugs. So in reality what have learned? That it's easy to justify cruelty by saying it's research for the greater good?

Animal testing is at best unreliable at worst incredibly cruel, no human would submit to the criteria of the tests. Although there has been many claims of benefits from animal testing the sheer cost in animal lives is not worth it and certainly not for recreational drugs. So I have signed the petition

Too many animals already suffer for man we dont experiment on humans to find animal cures
this is totally disgusting and immoral and once again mans abuse of defenceless animals for their own gain If people want to take drugs then they should accept the consequences of their actions If it kills them or makes them ill so be it dont put the onus on animals who cannot even speak for themselves If you must try out stuff like this give it to those who volunteer or a better idea take it yourselves There would be a few less selfish uncaring and non compassionate people in the world

i'm against animal testing to begin with. i understand that everyone isn't, especially for cancer and other deadly disease. however, i do not understand this reason at all.
