Thank goodness she was rescued - if only all the cats and dogs in this vile trade could be.

I could never have gone into that market. I would have started a riot by letting all of the animals out of their cages and beating anyone who tried to recapture them.

This is one lucky cat, but there are thousands that aren't this fortunate. We got to get this stopped.

The description of the way these animals are killed is horrific, but not surprising. The asians are brutal in their treatment of animals. Nothing they do would surprise me.

That cat is very lucky to have been saved from such a horrendous place.

Atrocities of this kind make Asians really repulsive.

I have NEVER figured out and guess I never will either just what made so many Asian peoples eat about anything and everything that moves, except humans (I hope). What is it that caused this horrific "tradition" to abuse the animal kingdom in such barbaric ways?
Thanks Cher for ONE RESCUE story!

Lucky cat. What an appalling market of innocent animals. The only barbarians there were the humans.

I am so happy this poor kitty cat made it out of the hateful hands of non-caring humans an into a loving home with humans that care He/She WAS LUCKY a lot of her/his friends did not make it more need to be done to end this hateful act on all "NON-HUMAN LIFE" "BUT" before we can tell a country what is right or wrong "WE HERE IN THE GOOD OLD USA NEEDS TO CLEAN HOUSE" We are just as bad yes we do not eat them but we kill them just for the hell of it or they are homeless and forgotten or just for sport or I just hate them. We have to do a lot of house cleaning here at home. I am doing my part for the pass ten years I have open my heart an home (welding shop) to all of the forgotten street cats an kittens that some how find there way to my door to date I have 53 Moggies living with me an seeing a cat sleeping an playing without fear maybe for the first time in it life is so priceless to me. There no better feeling than the power of love an kindness. =^..^=

Noted Tks. Cher... Cleo is one lucky kitty.... As for the Asian world you are sooooo twisted and sickening.. If you were to touch one of my eight cats... well lets just say,, you'd not see the sun but only the Oven of Hell...

Atrocious. But, you know, what does it matter what kind of animal this befalls? That is exactly the same in each and every case.

The so-called legal blind-spot basically equals legalization. It will be overspread until after it has been outlawed and become a punishable offense.

Oh, and this irrational belief in the purported medicinal properties of certain animal parts! How many animals have fallen victim to this nonsense? And, well, of course, too many carnivores out there :((

I am sickened by such stories, why are human beings so enured to suffering of animals?

The suffering imposed on innocent animals by humans truly makes me weep. Thank goodness Cleo was saved, but think of the tens of thousands that are tortured and killed every day. The least I can do is live a vegan lifestyle to ensure I don't contribute to their suffering.
