The Golden Gate National Recreation Area seems to have it out for canines and their owners.

I know this is a post about dogs, but I want to mention this issue--confined animals in schools.
I work as a sub teacher. A few days ago I observed a rabbit and lizard each confined in separate cages in a classroom. Years ago a science teacher had a turtle confined in a glass container; there was no room for the turtle to turn around and the water was filthy--smelled awful. A student teacher had a desk next to the turtle and had to witness the cruelty and put up with the smell. In a middle school the prinicipal kept a small animal in a glass cage with light on for at least 7 years. It was a 'bee sting' to see that poor creature confined in solitude for so long. Contact your school and ask if they have any animals confined in solitude--it is cruel.

I've lived next to enough BAD dog owners in my years to know that some don't think the laws apply to them. They let their dogs run off leashes, don't pick up after their animals and don't take any responsibility for their or their dogs actions. If everyone obeyed the rules, then I'm sure things would be different, but there is always someone who has to ruin it for everyone. Look up court cases and see how many dog bite cases there are, and these are only those that know who the owners of the dogs are. Others, the dog and owners ran off like cowards.

There are so many anti dog people in the USA.It is disgusting. If people don't like animals I don't like them.

In NYC, we have dog parks. They're fenced-in areas where dogs can run and play off leash without worrying about them getting hurt or running away. All municipalities should have these parks for dogs. People gather around the fences and watch the dogs play. It's a great way to spend a few hours with your dog and meet fellow dog lovers. And your dog can't get that kind of exercise or socialize any other way.

Disgusting. Send Charlie to a person who knows what a dog is. Send both of those officers to school to learn how to deal with the public, how to ride a horse, what a dog is and importantly, how to be people we can trust.

Charlie, you a AOK #1 in my books.

Charlie needs to be saved and be with his family. He deserves another chance, he was probably scared by the horse.

Immoral conduct and, once again, the victim is voiceless.

Charlie is just a victim of society!
People, stop judging others for the way they look!
