And as a little FYI to my neighbors. . . raking it into my yard or letting that mutt squat in my yard is NOT 'ecologically friendly'!

Simple solutions. Cat waste can also be composted; the litter will decompose.

I've posted this on my Twitter page. With all the dogs and owners in the Annex it seems like a very good idea. Getting them to refrain from using plastic might be tricky though. We'll see.

Of course all our pet waste goes in the composter ~ and we have a LOT of pet waste! It's never occurred to me to dump it in the trash. That just nasty!
