Look at the states involved in this - no wonder dog racing is called the poor man's horse racing.
I remember my uncle taking me to the "dogs" as a kid. Thousands of old people placing $2. bets on animals that were running their hearts out in incredible heat.
Even as a kid, I felt for those dogs.

Please contact the governor of every racing state listed below. Please let him or her know that dog racing is inhumane, results in the injury and death of thousands of gentle greyhounds each year, and that this cruelty should no longer be tolerated. No matter where you live, your voice is needed for the greyhounds.
