Noted only - humans who are hell bent on owning exotic pets only do it for the status, which is appalling given the fact that these poor animals do not belong with them but rather in their own natural habitat. But that is what we humans do, disrupt, ravage and destroy whatever mother nature has given us.

Whoever started this petition is an imbecile. Tigers, wolves, bears, large pythons, ect. are ALREADY illegal as pets in New York state. And of course there are more tigers in captivity than the wild. Newsflash, you morons, in about 15 years the Bronx Zoo will have more tigers in their care than the wild, because there will be ZERO TIGERS IN THE WILD.
