In George Orwell's amazing (and scary) novel 1984, people used "newspeak" and "doublethink." It was soon after that the term "doublespeak" started being used to describe the words of politicians who were trying to sound like they were saying something

So VERY true! Noted I love the example they give on "Pro-life"!

Always thought that argument should be Pro-Choice vs Anti-Choice... because it makes it sound as if one is Pro-Choice, they are therefore, Anti-Life!!!!!

Noted. I don't know why they even bother wasting their breath....the "dumbing down" of America....I hope they know they're not going to get away with this. The way info is shared in a worldwide manner, they will end up losing.
