"...But if Congress won’t act soon to protect future generations, I will," Obama said. "I will direct my cabinet to come up with executive actions we can take now and in the future to reduce pollution, prepare our communities for the consequences of climate change, and speed the transition to more sustainable sources of energy..."
-Right; -Time for action!

Obama is classically the case where actions speak louder than words. As this article says, it he cannot get his policies enacted (when and if they are created), is he going to whine about the Congress, or is he going to develop a Presidential spine and be pro active?

He ,President Obama is going to have to do 99% of it himself! WHY? Because congress is made up of a bunch of selfish greedy bendajoes that the idiotic American public voted in after they fell for all the lies they put out. IF congress did do anything to stop big buisness from doing as they please it would take money out of there pockets and they are NEVER going to do that. We NEED a totally new political representives that will do that.

One of the first things he could do is not approve the Keystone XLPipeline. He could also issue a countrywide moratorium against dangerous fracking. He could make sure the E.P.A. is properly funded and staffed with proper oversight. He could decrease coal production in favor of funding more green energy research and technology. He could make sure oil speculation is enormously curbed, and make sure these dirty energy corps. are paying taxes and not allow loopholes and subsidies. A good start. Now, will he do it?
