It is nature versus nurture, with a twist. The green fraternity is engaged in a strange battle in Karnataka over artificially replenishing waterholes in tiger reserves in the dry summer months. While one group has lashed out against the decision of the

If you see an animal in need get some help for no matter what kind of animal it is, I don't mean to go and pick up a Mamba, or try to get a Tiger some water in a bowl like you would do to your house cat, I mean ask someone who knows about that kind of species for help.

I believe after reading this article, the big issue at hand is replenishing water that is not contaminated. The how and why this water would be so was not explained- unless I missed something. Isn't the bottom line these animals need water?

the animals need water. replenish the water with non-contaminated water. the article states that it could be done for selfish reasons, not really caring at all about the animals. this does not matter. the bottom line is.....the animals will die if they have no water. signed. thank you, cher.

In reality it is best to let nature take it's course, and not interfere.

Noted. With dwindling tiger populations, I would think this would be a no brainer. Get them water. Thanks Cher

Humans should always do whatever they can to help those who need help.

Of course they need water provided.
Humans have stuffed up their habitat it is the least that we can do

They should provide water holes because the habitat for the wildlife has shrunk, and it is not safe for them to find water on their own- animals will likely encounter humans while searching for water, and that usually ends up badly for the animal!

Where are we if we can't help an animal in need? I can't see why wildlife shouldn't be helped because they are wildlife???? Stupidity!
Thanks Cher
