If this is happening, widespread deforestation, habitat loss and the decline of prey species, its because of humans fault, and something needs to be done NOW!

Noted. This is a huge undertaking , and I wish them well. This is the first time that these two countries, India and Nepal,have joined together to do this study.Beautiful pictures in this sites archives.

Why now??? Surely there's not many to count at all. I don't trust either of these countries and i sure hope this count isn't being done so these last few Tigers can be hunted and offered up to the highest bidder.

We have a lot of work to do for these creatures. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the population were increased thanks to this joint task? Seeing the little cubs was touching.
