Like others have said, I don't have children but I'd like to protect my cat. A tip for anyone who doesn't want to lay down the big bucks for a commercial air purifier: get a houseplant. It's almost as good and way cheaper. Although, I suppose, it actually wouldn't work in a toddler's room since the kid might knock over the plantpot.
