This could be a good way to see if fracking proponents will balk at scientific evidence, or if they're just money hungry. Great share, thanks Cher!

Noted. Fracking has been going on in PA for a long time and we've had no *incidents*. The primary gas company has been very careful with the use of shields, water testing, etc.
I think natural gas is a viable alternative energy source when done properly as it is here.

the amount of life exchanged for it.

Nothing personal but I refuse to sign stupid, and the petition is stupidity written by ignorance. The bit about you can not just ban it outright because we need it is wrong and intentionally misleading, just like the toxic sludge from tar sands it is all or nearly all destined for export and local or national use in the US. More importantly the the petition ignores the fundamentl facts; 1) by US law, thanks to the Bush/Cheney Admin.,specifically Cheney, none of the Fracking Companies can be required to even disclose what they are using in their Fracking Liquids; 2) by US law, thanks to the same Oil Men Admin., no Federal at least and perhaps state, Agencies are allowed to regulate or study the human and environmental impacts of Fracking. Which should come as no surprise as during the B/C Admin. all research into the effects of car exhaust on humans and the enviroment was either no funded, no allowed or banned from disclosure to the public and the Legislative branch of government. You want to study Fracking you are going to have to get a Repug/Tea Bagged House Majority, many of whom have been massively donated to by the Koch Brothers and if you are unaware Koch Industries et alia is the single largest Petro-Chemical Corproation in the USA, so good luck with changing the law.

noted. I'm on the fence for signing, though. It means that to research fracking & its impact, it would have to be experimented with & hydraulic fracking would actually have to be done. Tend to agree with Lloyd. Thanks for sharing.

What's going on, here?
How long shall we pretend not to know the dangers of this procedure?
If you want to say, you just don't care, at least that's being honest.

Big Business will NEVER stop; the voters must do it for them.
