The really sad part is that the animals in slaughterhouses are going to die!

Noted. Gladly signed. This we know: in countries where the public can readily inspect or view the conditions of slaughterhouses, two things happen. The first is that the facility and the practices of that facility become markedly more sanitary. The second is that the animals to be slaughtered are treated much more humanely up to their final moment. If American omnivores would like more assurance that their meat is hygienically processed and that the animals processed are treated with as humanely as possible prior to slaughter, then they need to demand similar legislation in the US.

Noted and signed. We have this problem in Israel and there was a great public outcry after seeing a video showing the horrors in the slaughter houses, so now maybe they will do something about it!

don't eat the animals. there would be no need for slaughterhouses. however 'humanely' the animals are treated, it is only a pretext to ending their precious lives for the sake of human consumption. signed. thank you, cher.

Its bad enough that the animals have to die but at least let it be more humanely than it obviously is now and hopefully cctv could help achieve this. Petition gladly signed.

Signed. Any slaughter house is cruel. I feel sorry for the animals that are killed so humans can eat meat. Thank god I'm vegan.

Signed. I think all areas where people handle animals should be recorded- hopefully it will discourage animal abuse in the first place, rather than just catch abusers in the act.

Signed and noted but I doubt this will ever happen. In my state they actually want to arrest and prosecute anyone filming in a slaughterhouse.

signed. All areas where humans interact with other beings need cameras recording their every move! We must stop eating animals. A peaceful diet most often leads to great changes in consciousness and inner wisdom, experiences unfold in the spiritual realms within. Until we stop harming living beings and eating them, we have no chance to experience anything of out higher selves and worlds. Instead, we see a decline an a darkening and a poisoning of all in a regrettable progression..
