Translation......

Ladies and gentlemen,As a concerned global citizen I urge you, to stop importing apes from Guinea to China immediately. I am deeply concerned about the illegal importation of wild caught chimpanzees and gorillas from Guinea for Chinese zoos in recent years. As a member of CITES, China should be aware of its responsibility, combat trafficking, and reject any importation of dubious origin. I've learned that China continued importing protected wildlife from Guinea, although warnings of the CITES Secretariat templates that repeatedly doubted the validity of export licences from Guinea.Period of four years (2007-2011) were a total of 104 living chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) exported to China, all allegedly in captive bred. In addition 10 gorillas (in 2010) for zoos in China were exported, they, too, on the basis of apparently falsified CITES papers that officially classify these animals as offspring. The secretariat informed the parties in September 2011, that there is no commercial breeding of CITES-listed species in Guinea. Exports are therefore a violation of the conservation agreement and are achieved through the use of invalid and fraudulent permits and certificates. Although the first notification of fraudulent exports of Guinea was published in 2006, China imported apes from Guinea at least until 2011, the last year for the trade available official data available.Baby chimpanzees in Guinea were among other things shown to two Chinese zoos - the Jinan Zoo (Shandong province) and the Hefei (Anhui Province) Wildlife Park. The animals were costumes among other things listed in shopping malls, which raises additional questions about the economic purpose of the imports. Therefore, I urge China to confiscate any illegally imported apes and in a suitable collecting station in Africa to send them back, where they can be rehabilitated and may again be can released.Noting that China has imported four chimpanzees in Sierra Leone in 2011, and possibly additional illegal imports from other countries are available should China launch an investigation into the trade and keeping great apes, these should include DNA testing, as well as the seizure, return and recovery out reintroduction of illegally imported animals

Signed! No animals should be sent to China- their zoos do not foster respect for animals- and the public is allowed to throw rocks at alligators until they all died, and allowed to throw snowballs at stressed-out lions.
