Puppy mange rarely spreads to people. However, there's more than one type of mange.

I hate to see an animal scratching, please keep your animals clean and healthy.

I've never heard of a case of demodex in humans either, but my husband got sarcoptic mange from a red fox we rehabilitated and gave it to our dogs!
Please, if your dog (or cat) is excessively itchy and/or has scaly patches of hair loss, please call your veterinarian and have him checked.

Interesting article. Noted. Keeping our pets clean will naturally help.Manage is rarely transmitted to humans.

I would hope that if people saw their dog scratching and suffering they would take him to the vet. I had a cat once with fleas that tore one side of her hair off it was torturing her so much!

there are 2 types of mange. only one can be passed on to people. have your pets checked if they have hair loss and itching. both kinds can be treated don't dump them because they get it.
we used to get lots of dogs that had mange because their owners didn't want to treat them.
