President Obama will make the final decision about the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, but he will consider Congress's opinions on the issue -- and they will consider yours.

The entire nation is standing together to say no to this dangerous proposal and we expect our leaders to hear us and take firm action to reject the Keystone XL pipeline and tar sands. It is not good for anyone but those who stand to profit and we have had enough of that as well.

There is one thing about this that bugs me. If even with Harper, the Canadian version of W Bush, just how unsafe is Keystone that Canada will not allow it to be built across Canadian soil. And just why the hell does any one in the US government even consider allowing it on American soil.

Uphold- this letter/pettition.
"{This no tar sands is more a matter of taking good care of the earth and all that lives on earth -- the whole earth. When the USA shows little concern for the earth and all who live on earth -- the USA is going against nature -- or --(if you will the Creator and the creation) and mankind. If we use all solar energy and wooden windmills and on-floats-wood-wave-energy -- then we have all the energy that the whole earth and all mankind will ever need.
Given the alternatives -- tar sands is a disgrace and shame to those men and women who are making the decisions to allow tar sands -- at all. I have never had, and will never have anything to do with the use of tar sands. I am thankful to have had the open door to write this and state this. Sincerely, Ruth Rogers}
