What is WRONG with people? Fortunately, a rescue's quick action saves the pups from being ripped from Mom at far too young an age.

Thank G*d someone was on the alert! These internet sites should be banned from animal sales since they obviously won't take the responsibility themselves.

The relaying of communication to save these pups was great to read! It's just amazing what people try to get away with.

Barbarian, it's lucky she was caught. Next issue, maybe Craig's list could or would clean up their act.

"Officer Jamie Simmons jumped on the case, and by 5 that night -- the same day Amanda was tipped off -- the mom and six of her seven dogs had been taken from the seller and were safe at a local vet."
Thank God this woman was caught and prosecuted...and the mom pit was stolen! Now Craigslist needs some cleaning up and legal action taken against them!

There are so many idiots in this world. How they manage to live without getting killed every day is beyond me. Good for those that stepped in and rescued these pups. So glad this person was prosecuted. We need stricter laws and an animal abuser register. We need to watch out for our animal friends against these types of humans. I've reported my neighbor twice for dog neglect. They finally gave the dog up even after trying to block my view of their backyard. I'd get on my roof to look into their backyard if I had too.

Noted and article read. Amanda you deserve a medal for your compassion, in rescuing the mom and her pups, and also kudos to all the people that were along the way that also helped. I guess this 24 year old woman deserves to be charged - she obviously knows nothing about new born pups or was so desperate for money that she would put these pups at risk.
Thanks Cher.

Animals should not be allowed to be 'listed'. This is also the forum where they are picked up for use in dog-fighting rings, for target practice, for feeding to other animals (eg snakes) and other abuses.

Great Kudos to Amanda and all the people behind her, including the authorities that acted quickly. This is sickening. I hope they book her good and the terrible memory of this haunts her forever so she will never ever think about exploiting and breeding animals again. Yes, UGGGGGHHHHHH

This women needs to pay a hefty fine and work in an animal shelter so that maybe she can understand how callous she is.

She just needs to fall off the planet. Stupid b###h. Craigslist needs to keep animals off their site and stick with sellng items.

Amanda is truly a saint to help the dear dog and puppies. Selling infant puppies should be a felony.

I wish I could slap this woman! Who in their right mind would take a 3 day puppy away from it's mother???

I am glad the Mom and puppies were taken away from that idiot. My prayers go out to the one puppy who was already sold.
