Very cool! I wonder if other species could exist equally well with some education of the humans involved?

I hope this is true, but I've read stories where the big cats were loosing the war. Those stories must be from other places in India. We all need to learn to co-exist with one another and need to control the human populations. If animals would have expanded as fast as humans, we would have culled them centuries ago.

The human race is breeding out of proportion and out of control.Animals and their territory need to be left alone and not invaded

If we don't learn to coexist with animals...we all know which species will survive.

Good news! It hasn't always been this way, and I know this happened a few years ago now, but please note this incident of a leopard being burned by villagers in Utterkhand, which is northern India I believe, thanks.
