Tiger rental? G-d forbid. Why don't they improve income from tourism by building better sancturaries and safer habitats? I would pay to stay in a hotel smack dab in the middle of a tiger haven where the tigers couldn't get to me and I couldn't get to them.

Today must be April Fools Day because that is what this idea is. Pure foolishness. People are so frickin clueless sometimes. Thanks Cher.

They should do it by getting these rich people to pay for their protection and naming them, as pets a very bad idea.

Has Indonesia gone mad - renting tigers out??? and thinking that is a good way to save them from extinction???
Just because there are rich people that think having a tiger is a status symbol does not give the right to rent a tiger to anybody on this Earth. Maybe there could be a way to transfer all these Sumatran Tigers to a safe sanctuary in order to save them.
Noted. Thank you for the awareness Cher.

This is insane, this is a disaster waiting to happened for these magnificent creatures. Tigers or any wildlife are not something you rent out. Someone can get mauled or killed and then the tiger will get killed. Do not do this, they are not pets they are WILD animals.

greed combined with the desire to have something exotic that other people don't have = a very bad combination.

People have no business having wild animals as "pets". The only way these big cats would benefit is if it was treated like a sponsorship where the people donate to their care in a preserve or sanctuary.
