Your signature has been recorded, and tweeted. Chicago is also using vacant lots to grow community food, what an obvious and helpful solution to hunger in America.

This is SO awesome (thanks, Cher!) and something that should seriously be considered for all large metro areas. I would love to see an indoor farm installed at that horrific tribute to consumerism: The Mall of America! There's certainly enough vacant space there now.

Signed, a step into the right direction, but I do wonder how green the energy is that feeds the lighting, heating and water pumps? Have solarpanels been installed to offset some of the pollution caused by coal generated electricity off the grid?

At first, I was alarmed and "ready for a fight" because I was prepared to "say my mind" about keeping animals in such conditions! Then I read the article............WHOOPS, not animals but CROPS! Great and I approve 100%. Just curious about a petition. Petitions are usually to ask for a change. What is the point here of a petition? Are we not supportive of what is being done?
