No child should go to school in fear of the leaders who are supposed to help guide their futures. We must send a message to teachers that bullying students won't be tolerated by creating federal anti-bullying laws that address not only peer-to-peer

More Federal laws, we don't need. The rules of federal jurisdiction should make this a moot point as there is no interstate applicability to this issue other than in DOD schools. Instead, petition state governments (who have the jurisdiction over their school systems) to enact such laws. I realize that it seems easier to address everything to the Feds but it is not always appropriate.

As I was invariably the smallest in my class at each school I attended until age 16, I got to meet every bully in each school. That doubtless played a part in getting me into law enforcement. At 6'2" I am no longer the little guy but have an intense dislike of bullies, whether they are physically oppressive and assaultive or try to impose their beliefs or will on others through ridicule or threat. So, I certainly want to see all bullying in our schools stopped whether committed by students or teachers. Direct these anti-bullying petitions to state governments for all but DOD schools.

noted and signed - I know a teacher like this and we tried to get her fired, the school wouldn't do anything. Needless to say, we are now paying tuition for my granddaughters to go to a different school.
